Nicole has over a decade worth of experience in dog training and has worked with a wide range of dogs varying in breeds, size, and temperament. She has successfully treated dogs that exhibit anxiety, fear aggression, dog aggression, people aggression, and other reactive behavior. She also has experience training working dogs for personal protection, police k9's, detection, service, and therapy work. She is an active civilian decoy for MA/NH K9 Departments as well!
Nicole has a deep understanding of dog breeds, behaviors, training methodologies, and now offers a logical, balanced approach to dog training.
She competitively competes with her Belgian Malinois, Pharaoh, in PSA (Protection Sport Association) K9 Sport. In the spring of 2019, they trialed in New Jersey winning second place and earning their PDC (Protection Dog Certificate). In September 2020, Nicole and Pharaoh took home first place and earned their PSA1 title in one weekend. They recently competed in a Mondio trial in New York and earned their MR1 title in one weekend! She also competes with her youngest Belgian Malinois, Ezekiel in Mondio Ring Sport as well!
Nicole holds a bachelor's in criminal justice and a minor in Psychology at the University Massachusetts of Lowell. She has eight dogs of her own: Angel (Bichon Frise), Spike (Cattle Dog/Pitbull Mix), Pharaoh (Belgian Malinois), Ezekiel (Belgian Malinois), as well as her English labs Russell, Freya, Bonnie, and Mater who trains in therapy work, Fast Cat, Dock Diving, and Hunting. She also volunteers at Mass General Hospital supporting their dog training program for special needs children throughout the school year.

Krystal is a passionate animal lover, treating every animal as if they were her own. She has grown up with dogs and cannot see her life without them. She is the co-owner of Canine Odyssey and works hard to exceed our clients' expectations and always puts the safety of the animals in our care first.
Krystal holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts of Lowell. In addition to working with us at Canine Odyssey, she works with security management. Krystal also comes from a Spanish background and is our Spanish interpreter.
Krystal handles all office related tasks, she is the one that you speak with either over the phone or through email. She also assists in taking care of the dogs that are with us for boarding.

Meet Joe and his pups Cinder & Charlie! Joe helps run our daycare as well as training with dogs that are enrolled in our camp programs. He provides repetition and consistency in our programs, and we are grateful to have him a part of our team! Outside of work, Joe loves any adventurous outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and traveling! He also grapples in Brazilian jiu jitsu.
Joe is an approved caretaker for dogs here at Canine Odyssey. For those boarding, he may be the one that is caring for your pups overnight!
Animal Care Supervisor - Senior Staff
Meet Jessica! She is a part timer that recently joined us during the fall in 2024. She has previous canine experience and currently provides dog walking services in Chelmsford and surrounding areas. She actively trains and competes in agility with her two shelties, June and Jax! She has aspiring dreams to open her own dog facility one day, and we have no doubt she will work hard to achieve that goal! She is always eager to tack on new experiences to further her education in the canine field. Jessica is a super dedicated, compassionate person and has a very strong work ethic. We are ecstatic to have her part of our team!

Meet Jay! She recently joined us in July of 2024. She has an extensive background and years of experience in the animal veterinary field. Jay helps run our daycare as well as training with dogs that are enrolled in our camp programs. Her cattle dog mixes, Buster and Diesel are her current companions and have been quite the little helpers with newcomers joining our daycare program!

Meet Isabella! She is a new part timer that recently joined us at the end of 2023. She is currently a college student studying biochemistry but has always wanted to learn more about dog behavior and training. Her husky Rocky was already an established student before Isabella joined us, and she works with him all the time!
