Nicole has over a decade worth of experience in dog training and has worked with a wide range of dogs varying in breeds, size, and temperament. She has successfully treated dogs that exhibit anxiety, fear aggression, dog aggression, people aggression, and other reactive behavior. She also has experience training working dogs for personal protection, police k9's, detection, service, and therapy work. She is an active civilian decoy for MA/NH K9 Departments as well!

Nicole has a deep understanding of dog breeds, behaviors, training methodologies, and now offers a logical, balanced approach to dog training.

She competitively competes with her Belgian Malinois, Pharaoh, in PSA (Protection Sport Association) K9 Sport. In the spring of 2019, they trialed in New Jersey winning second place and earning their PDC (Protection Dog Certificate). In September 2020, Nicole and Pharaoh took home first place and earned their PSA1 title in one weekend. They recently competed in a Mondio trial in New York and earned their MR1 title in one weekend! She also competes with her youngest Belgian Malinois, Ezekiel in Mondio Ring Sport as well!

Nicole holds a bachelor's in criminal justice and a minor in Psychology at the University Massachusetts of Lowell. She has eight dogs of her own: Angel (Bichon Frise), Spike (Cattle Dog/Pitbull Mix), Pharaoh (Belgian Malinois), Ezekiel (Belgian Malinois), as well as her English labs Russell, Freya, Bonnie, and Mater who trains in therapy work, Fast Cat, Dock Diving, and Hunting. She also volunteers at Mass General Hospital supporting their dog training program for special needs children throughout the school year.

Krystal is a passionate animal lover, treating every animal as if they were her own. She has grown up with dogs and cannot see her life without them. She is the co-owner of Canine Odyssey and works hard to exceed our clients' expectations and always puts the safety of the animals in our care first.

Krystal holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts of Lowell. In addition to working with us at Canine Odyssey, she works with security management. Krystal also comes from a Spanish background and is our Spanish interpreter. 

Krystal handles all office related tasks, she is the one that you speak with either over the phone or through email. She also assists in taking care of the dogs that are with us for boarding.

Joe has been with us for 5+ years and is an important part of the team! He helps keep our dogs moving,  learning, and thriving every day! 

He runs our daycare and K9 Day camp programs, where he focuses on providing the repetition, structure, and consistency that dogs needs to build lasting skills. His steady approach helps reinforce training throughout the day while making sure the dogs in our care have a productive experience. 

Outside of work, Joe shares his adventured with his two dogs Charlie and Cinder. He's also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and enjoys grappling, working out, hiking, and spending as much time outdoors.

Makayla has been part of the Canine Odyssey family for 5+ years, growing alongside our team and becoming an important part of the care and training we provide.  

She is an AKC Canine Good Citizens Evaluator and works with dogs and their families through group classes, private lessons, and our K9 Day Camp Program. Whether she's helping a dog learn new skills, building a handler's confidence, or spending the day with our campers, Makayla brings patience, compassion, and a genuine love for every dog in our care. 

When she's not training, you'll usually find her with her two labs, Lilo and Hank! She loves taking them hiking and planning adventure days where they can explore, get outside, and enjoy life together. 

We're grateful to have Makayla continue growing with Canine Odyssey and helping our clients build stronger, happier relationships with their dogs!

Ava is one of our newer members of the team and has been working with our daycare for a little over a year now. In that time, she has quickly become a wonderful addition to our crew!

Ava has continued taking on new responsibilities and recently began assisting with the training of our K9 Day Campers. She has been thriving in the role, gaining, hands on experience while helping reinforce the skills, structure, and consistency our campers work on throughout their day.

Ava brings enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude to the dogs around her. We're excited to continue watching her learn, grow, and develop as a trainer here at Canine Odyssey!

Isabella has been part of the team for about 4 years, working with us part time while pursuing her education at Umass Lowell, where she studying to be a chemist.

Isabella helps run our Daycare and K9 Day Camp programs, providing support, consistency, and attentive care to the dogs throughout their day. She's a dedicated hard worker, both on and off the clock, and is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed!

Of course we can't introduce Isabella without introducing Rocky, her Siberian husky! Rocky has become an essential part of our pack and our small group daycare program, where his temperament and social skills help new dogs feel comfortable, acclimate to the facility, and settle into their new environment. 

Between balancing college, work, and life with Rocky, Isabella brings dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic to our team! We're grateful to have these two part of the pack!
